  1. This is ELF binaries of the pgplot v5.1.0 for Linux
  2.  
  3. -=System reqirements:=-
  4.  
  5. libc, libm     >= 5.0.9
  6. libX11        >= 6.0
  7. Motif        >= 2.0 (optional)
  8. (all ELF)
  9.  
  10. -=To install:=-
  11.  
  12. Copy lib/* to /usr/local/lib
  13. Copy bin/* to /usr/local/bin (or whatever dir in your path)
  14. Copy include/* to /usr/local/include
  15. Mkdir /usr/local/pgplot
  16. Copy aux/* to /usr/local/pgplot
  17. Copy doc directory there (optional)
  18. Copy  examples-* directories there, too (optional)
  19. Run `ldconfig'
  20. (WARNING! If you have my port of the previous version of the pgplot library, 
  21. libpgplot.so.5.03, delete it or rename to libpgplot.so.5.0.3 BEFORE running 
  22. ldconfig!)
  23.  
  24. That's it!
  25. (If you choose another than /usr/local/pgplot location, you'll need to set
  26. some environment variables; read install.txt in the `doc' directory.)

  30. Go to `examples-bin' dir and run demos.
  31. (You'll need Motif-2.0 runtime libs to run pgmdemo)
